Question 1

How much does drone crop dusting cost per acre in California?

Accepted Answer

Our drone crop dusting and spraying service ranges from $12–$30 per acre depending on crop type and complexity, with a 50-acre minimum. Aerial mapping starts at $8 per acre. Agricultural reports are a flat $250. Volume discounts are available for operations over 500 acres.

Question 2

What is drone crop dusting and how is it different from traditional crop dusting?

Accepted Answer

Drone crop dusting is the modern replacement for traditional airplane crop dusting. Instead of a manned aircraft, we use autonomous spray drones like the Telos T60X to apply herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. Drones fly lower and slower for far more precise, uniform coverage with less drift, no landing strip required, and the ability to treat small, irregular, or hard-to-reach fields that a plane can't.

Question 3

How many acres can a drone spray per hour?

Accepted Answer

Our Telos T60X can spray 35+ acres per hour depending on field conditions, chemical dilution rates, and terrain. We run two units simultaneously for large operations.

Question 4

What counties do you serve in California?

Accepted Answer

We cover Fresno County, Tulare County, Kings County, Stanislaus County, and Madera County in California's Central Valley.

Question 5

Is drone spraying legal in California?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates and we operate in compliance with California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR) requirements.

Question 6

What crops do you spray with drones?

Accepted Answer

We service almonds, pistachios, walnuts, grapes, cotton, corn, tomatoes, wheat, cherries, blueberries, and stone fruit — all major Central Valley crops.
